Social Media Specialist

The primary job focus of the role is to grow our SOS brand and target both internal staff as well as clients and students. The administrator must manage, maintain and distribute data on multiple digital channels ie. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and emailers to the desired audience in order to grow and elevate the brand. Reporting on current and forecasted data to management on a weekly basis. Responsibilities of the job vary according to business strategy and needs , but typically include:

  • Working with database software to find ways to store, organise and manage data
  • Keeping databases up to date
  • Helping with database design
  • Managing database
  • Designing procedures and putting them into operation
  • Ensuring that databases meet user requirements
  • Liaising with operational staff, project managers and other staff members
  • Defining objectives through consultation with staff at all levels
  • Writing reports and documentation
  • Testing and modifying databases to ensure that they operate reliably
  • Providing support and feedback to management
  • Archiving data
  • Social Media reporting
